Key takeaways
- Most of the market is small prices. 56% of sales are under €20. To clear a wardrobe, volume and bundles work. See How to sell fast.
- Statement pieces earn 2 to 3 times more per sale. Shoes (€45) and jackets (€30) against €16 across all sales. See What to sell on Vinted.
- Brands sell. The top three brands make 28% of sales: the title should start with the brand. See Title and description.
- Reselling pays, on a small scale. Median profit €11 per item: volume and sourcing make the income. See Reselling.
- Ranges are benchmarks, not prices. Always compare the same model in the same condition. See How to price.
Methodology
- Source: items marked “sold” in Vendly in September 2026 (Paris time): 628 sales from 292 sellers.
- Kept: prices between €1 and €5,000, at most 20 sales per seller, internal accounts excluded. That leaves 457 sales from 202 sellers.
- Price: the price the seller entered when marking the item sold (pre-filled with Vendly’s estimate, editable). Shipping and buyer fees not included.
- Median rather than mean: the mean (€28.6) is pulled up by a few expensive sales; the median says what a “typical” sale looks like.
- Margin: only sales with a recorded purchase price (242 sales). Multiplier = sale price ÷ purchase price.
- Anonymity: a group is only published with at least 5 sales from at least 3 sellers, with no single seller making more than half. This month, two groups (a category and a brand) were hidden because one seller made more than half of their sales. Details and right to object in our privacy policy (in French).
- Limits: these are sales by Vendly users, mostly in France, across all marketplaces (the marketplace isn’t recorded). Categories are grouped by keywords. Time to sell isn’t published: it isn’t reliable enough.
